Founded by Olivia Santoni in 2019, Bloom Regulatory is a London based consultancy that was formed to bring a new approach to regulatory support. Working with businesses who offer beauty and wellbeing consumer goods, we have a particular focus on cosmetics and food supplements.

About the role

Location: Remote (UK), Full-time


As a result of our continued accelerated growth, we are looking for a passionate individual, with an eye for detail, to join us in a regulatory affairs role. The main purpose of this role is to provide support to the Regulatory Affairs Team, including:

- Monitoring and communicating changes in regulations affecting cosmetics, food and consumer products in GB, EU, US and Canada.

- Monitoring and reporting advertising adjudications from the ASA - Monitoring and communicating product recalls and enforcement action from key markets - Reviewing cosmetic formulations for GB, EU, US and Canadian market compliance - Compiling and reviewing INCI lists for cosmetic product labelling

- Assisting in the timely preparation and submission of cosmetic notifications for GB, EU and Canada - Updating our internal cosmetic ingredient monitoring database - Updating our internal food ingredient compliance lists - Carrying out label/artwork review for cosmetic and food products - Writing blog posts for the company website on a variety of topics

- Compiling and auditing Product Information Files

-Providing support at client meetings, presentations, training, and industry events/conferences as required - Attending internal or external training as required The role will be reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Director.

Requirements - Strong level of communication skills and a keen eye for detail - Strong people skills, motivated and able to use initiative - Intermediate MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook) and video calling platforms - The ability to prioritise, organise and complete a variety of simultaneous tasks - Be able to work independently - Degree in Life Sciences or Cosmetic Science, or equivalent
