Job Title: Regulatory Affairs Advisor
Location: Remote (UK), Full-time.
Founded in 2019, Bloom Regulatory offers regulatory and strategic support to companies offering cosmetics in a variety of markets. The Regulatory Affairs Advisor role is a unique new position in this expanding company, ideal for those either at an early stage within their regulatory career in the cosmetic or food sectors or those with a formulation or NPD background within cosmetics / or consumer goods and a keen interest to move into regulatory affairs.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Regulatory Affairs Associate Director, you will assist in all aspects of the regulatory support the company provides to its clients as well as helping to expand the portfolio of services on offer. This exciting position offers opportunity to progress into a higher role.
As a Regulatory Affairs Advisor, you’ll be involved every step of the way to ensure our customers' goods are compliant in the UK, EU but also in other markets. You’ll be heavily involved in new concept developments and supporting our customers’ plans to ensure any new products they bring to market are legal. You will need to ensure that we keep up with any changes in relevant regulations, conduct data management and risk assessments. You’ll need to ensure you maintain clear communication with stakeholders internally as well as with external partners. Your expertise will help to form some of our regulatory strategies for the future too.

Undergraduate Degree (Degrees and courses associated with cosmetics will be welcomed)
1 year regulatory experience within a cosmetics company (desirable but not essential)
Strong communications skills (in English - bonus point if you also have another language)
Tact and diplomacy
Ability to work and interact as part of a team but also remotely and independently
IT competency (Excel spreadsheet programming skills is not required but definitely a plus)

You’ll be responsible for:
The role primarily focuses on the cosmetics regulatory landscape but duties will also require the candidate to carry out similar work in relation to food supplements (especially ‘beauty from within’ products):
review artwork and labelling
review formulations
research upcoming changes in legislation and update internal systems
maintain internal filing systems of regulatory resources
support client meetings
liaise with clients and provide support
submit CPNP notifications
compile Product Information Files from customer documentation
research background information for presentations and articles
provide cosmetovigilance advice
review product claims
